Il documento - che si riferisce sempre all'anno accademico precedente - descrive in maniera dettagliata le attività della nostra Università. Oltre alle novità, ai fatti significativi e alle cifre che hanno caratterizzato l'anno accademico 2009-2010, il rapporto descrive le attività correnti nella formazione e nella ricerca. Questa edizione del rapporto annuale si apre con una panoramica sullo stato dell'USI nel 2010 e un'illustrazione del progetto del "Campus 2" e l'articolato iter necessario alla sua realizzazione.

La direzione del DECS per la legislatura 2011-2015 passa al nuovo consigliere di Stato socialista Manuele Bertoli

Il Dipartimento dell'educazione, della cultura, e dello sport (DECS) ha un nuovo direttore: il consigliere di Stato Manuele Bertoli. L'USI ringrazia il consigliere di Stato uscente Gabriele Gendotti per l'ispirata conduzione del Dipartimento durante l'ultimo decennio e dà il benvenuto all'on. Bertoli. Un'allocuzione del neoeletto consigliere di Stato, Direttore del DECS, è prevista durante il Dies academicus di sabato 14 maggio (ore 10.00, aula magna, campus di Lugano).

Aperte le iscrizioni per la nuova Summer School in Public Health Policy, Economics and Management

La Summer School, che si terrà nel campus di Lugano dal 15 al 20 agosto, si rivolge a professionisti e quadri del sistema sanitario interessati ad acquisire gli strumenti necessari per affrontare con successo le sfide del settore. Oltre ai corsi (in inglese e francese) tenuti da docenti di fama internazionale, i partecipanti avranno l'opportunità di scambiare conoscenze e opinioni con i propri colleghi e di creare nuovi network professionali. La Summer School è organizzata dalla Swiss School of Public Health+ (SSPH+) in collaborazione con l'Istituto di Microeconomia ed Economia pubblica (Mecop) dell'USI e lo Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH).

UNI Cinema: nuovo sito e prossimi appuntamenti

È online il nuovo sito di UNI Cinema, l'associazione studentesca che propone ogni due settimane la proiezione di pellicole accomunate dalla loro provenienza, il Vecchio Continente. Il prossimo appuntamento è per mercoledì 20 aprile alle 20.30 in aula 354 (campus di Lugano) con il film "Il cielo sopra Berlino" di Wim Wenders.

The annual report on USI's 14° academic year is now online

The document, which always refers to the preceding academic year - describes the activities of our University in a detailed manner. In addition to the news, significant facts and key figures that characterized the 2009-2010 academic year, the report describes the core education and research activities. This edition of the annual report opens with an overview of the state of USI in 2010 as well as an illustration of the "Campus 2" project and the operating procedure necessary for its realisation.

The leadership of the DECS for the 2011-2015 legislature is passed to new Socialist State Councillor, Manuele Bertoli

The Department of Education, Culture, and Sport (DECS) has a new director: State Councillor Manuele Bertoli. USI expresses its gratitude to departing State Councillor Gabriele Gendotti for his inspired leadership of the Department during the last decade, and extends its welcome to Hon. Bertoli. A speech by the newly elected State Councillor and Director of DECS is scheduled during the Dies academicus on Saturday, May 14 at 10am (Aula magna, Lugano Campus).

Enrolment is open for the new Summer School in Public Health Policy, Economics and Management

The Summer School, which will be held on the Lugano Campus from August 15 to 20, is aimed at professionals and managers in the health system interested in acquiring the necessary tools to successfully face the challenges of the sector. In addition to the courses (in English and French), taught by internationally renowned lecturers, the participants will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge and opinions with their colleagues and build new professional networks. The Summer School is organised by the Swiss School of Public Health+ (SSPH+) in collaboration with the USI Institute for Microeconomics and Public Economics (Mecop) and the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH).

UNI Cinema: new site and the next scheduled film screenings

The new UNI Cinema website is now live online. UNI Cinema is the student association that offers film screenings every two weeks, with selections based on their origin: the Old Continent. The next scheduled date is Wednesday, April 20 at 8.30pm in Room 354 (Lugano Campus) with the film "Der Himmel über Berlin" (Wings of Desire) by Wim Wenders.
