abbiamo il piacere di annunciarvi che con l'inizio del semestre autunnale riceverete USI Flash, la newsletter che terrà aggiornata in modo conciso e puntuale la comunità universitaria su quanto accade nel nostro ateneo.

USI Flash completa l’offerta del Servizio comunicazione e media con uno strumento dedicato alla comunicazione interna, che affianca il magazine di approfondimento Square. Bilingue e di rapida lettura, questa newsletter dà notizie e informa sugli eventi che caratterizzano la vita dei due campus universitari (Lugano e Mendrisio).

USI Flash sarà inviata via e-mail a tutti gli studenti, professori e collaboratori a scadenza regolare, di norma una volta alla settimana (frequenza che potrà variare a seconda della quantità di informazioni). 

• inviate a flash@usi.ch una breve descrizione della notizia o dell'evento (5-6 righe al massimo), in italiano o in inglese;
• per notizie si intendono le informazioni di interesse per la comunità universitaria come ad esempio l'arrivo di nuovi professori o collaboratori, le nomine, iniziative inedite, le ricorrenze, i riconoscimenti, i fondi e i risultati di ricerca, la nascita di nuove associazioni, etc.;
• per eventi si intendono le conferenze, i seminari e le lezioni aperte a tutti i membri della comunità universitaria;
• la segnalazione deve preferibilmente essere corredata da un link al quale poter fare riferimento.

Vi preghiamo di inviarci le vostre segnalazioni con almeno una settimana di anticipo, in modo da permetterci di pianificare al meglio l'uscita della newsletter e tradurre i testi.

Dear professors and staff,

With the start of the autumn semester, we are pleased to announce the launch of USI Flash, the newsletter that will keep the university community up to date, in a concise and precise manner, on the latest news and events relevant to life on the two USI campuses (Lugano and Mendrisio).

USI Flash, dedicated to internal communications, extends the offering of the Media & Communication Service as a complement to Square, the USI Magazine, which goes into greater depth on topics. USI Flash is a quick read, conveniently available in both Italian and English languages.

USI Flash will be E-mailed to all students, professors and staff on a regular basis (typically weekly, with the frequency subject to change based upon the amount of news).

• Please send an E-mail to flash@usi.ch with a brief description of the news or event (maximum 5-6 lines) in Italian or English.
• We consider "news" to be information of relevance and interest to the university community as a whole. Examples could include the arrival of new professors and staff, appointments to new or prestigious positions, new initiatives, happenings, awards and recognitions, research funds and results, new associations, etc.
• We consider "events" to be conferences, seminars, and workshops open to all members of the university community.
• Alerts should preferably be sent with an accompanying link for further reference.

We kindly request that you send the alerts at least one week in advance of the release date for planning, scheduling and translation purposes.
