Law Institute (IDUSI)
The Italian language in multilingual legislation
Last week in Bern, the publication "Legislazione purilingue in Svizzera " (edited by R. Schweizer and M. Borghi) was presented. The book is the product of an interdisciplinary research study carried out by lawyers and linguists as part of the National Research Programme 56 "Diversità delle
lingue e competenze linguistiche in
Svizzera". At the lecture, Federica De Rossa Gisimundo, who oversaw the Italian language portion of the study, outlined the main issues of the position of the Italian language in the legislation process in light of the principle of equity between the official languages.
The results of the second survey on the state-of-the-art in Swiss PR and corporate communication have been published.
The study, directed by Prof. Francesco Lurati, analyses this professional category, its development, its strategic role, as well as the key trends in the sector. The monitoring was carried out within the activities of the Swiss Corporate Communication and Public Relations Observatory (which is part of the IMCA)
collaboration of the most important Swiss professional associations in the field: SPRI, pr suisse, BPRA e Harbourclub.
