The 15th annual Dies academicus will be held on Saturday
Dies academicus is the most important occasion for convening and for informing the cantonal, national and international community about USI's development. The ceremony opens at 10am in Aula Magna of the Lugano Campus, with an address from the National Council of Switzerland President, Jean-René Germanier. The keynote will be given by newly elected State Councillor Manuele Bertoli, Director of DECS, followed by a speech from Prof. Daniela Mondini, art history lecturer at the Academy of Architecture. The report delivered by USI President Piero Martinoli will further explain the most promising and significant development scenarios for our University.
